Mission Statement

The Northern Michigan Baseball/Softball Inc. is committed to providing a positive environment for young men who aspire to play at the high school/collegiate level within the framework of competition and to prepare players for Boyne Baseball/Softball. 

The Northern Michigan Baseball/Softball Inc. primary role is to provide player growth, development, and to be perceived as a “premier” high caliber, highly competitive baseball organization that competes at the highest level possible. 

The Northern Michigan Baseball/Softball Inc. are committed to maintaining a foundation based on teamwork, goodwill, developing relations on the field and in the community, hard work, and ethics with the goal to develop the players in baseball as well as life and to prepare players for Boyne Baseball/Softball.

An additional concurrent goal will be to compete at showcased tournaments for collegiate baseball scouts. Our level of competition will provide for the player to obtain this goal, and to further develop the player’s skills and ability.


The 2021 17U Dogmen will be playing all Tournaments with "Prep Baseball report".

It’s what you do before the season starts that makes a champion.

The more I sweat in practice, the less I bleed in battle.


WHY PBR Tournaments?

PBR Tournaments' core focus is to provide players and teams the highest level of exposure at quality venues, while catering to the needs of college coaches and pro scouts.

PBR Tournaments will create an intimate atmosphere that will give the PBR scouting staff, as well as college and professional scouts, a setting to see top teams from their respective states and regions compete against each other.

Player Exposure

  • Each event will have several Scouts in attendance to ensure players and programs will receive recognition via our multitude of media platforms before, during, and after each tournament
  • Each player that attends an event will receive a  Player Profile , providing the 800+ college and professional scouts who subscribe to us a one-click option to view an athletes

  • Throughout the past 15 years PBR has built a sustainable and verifiable reputation throughout the college coaches and professional scouts that ensures a trust that we will provide the best experience and most reliable information
  • Running events across the United States, some of which have over 250 college coaches in attendance, our events have become a staple amongst College Recruiters and Professional scouts.

Event Operations and Communication

  • Partnering with the top tournament and facility operator in the country, will allow for a first class event
  • Communication is a top priority and coaches, players, fans will be communicated with clearly before, during, and after the event
  • Each set of fields will have a site-supervisor to help with any questions, the flow of game play and will report scores, organize umpires, arrange start times, provide baseballs and communicate rules


  • PBRT works with the top facilities around the country
  • Looking to have all events in one location to minimize travel for teams and their fans
  • Each facility is specifically chosen with viable hotel options, activities for families to do outside of the ballpark, and areas for teams to enjoy when they are not at the ballpark

  • Prep Baseball Report has built relationships with top programs across the country who will be participating in the tournaments
  • PBR’s knowledge of the programs and teams in attendance will allow for equal and fair competition
